Shows · Anna Karenina

In 1870s Russian high society, the married aristocrat Anna Karenina begins a passionate affair with the dashing cavalry officer Count Vronsky, scandalizing Moscow and St. Petersburg. As society shuns her and jealousy consumes her, Anna spirals into despair, while the parallel story of the earnest landowner Levin offers a contrasting vision of love grounded in simplicity and faith.
