On his 35th birthday, perpetual bachelor Robert contemplates his unmarried life as he observes the relationships of his five married couple friends. Through a series of vignettes revealing the compromises, frustrations, and quiet joys of partnership, Bobby must decide whether being alive is enough, or whether being alive with someone else is what truly matters.
