Sixteen-year-old Kim suffers from a rare genetic condition that causes her body to age at over four times the normal rate, making her look like a woman in her seventies. Living with her dysfunctional parents in suburban New Jersey and unexpectedly aided by her con-artist aunt and a group of earnest classmates, Kim must decide whether to waste time worrying or embrace the adventure of her drastically shortened life.
