Benjamin Barker, wrongfully imprisoned by a corrupt judge, returns to London as Sweeney Todd seeking revenge. He reopens his barber shop above Mrs. Lovett's failing pie shop and begins slitting the throats of his customers, whose remains Mrs. Lovett bakes into her suddenly popular meat pies. Todd's obsessive quest for vengeance against the judge consumes him, leading to a devastating and bloody climax.
